The Miller Controversy at UNO
Controversy

Professor Edward M. Miller has recently gotten into some controversy at the University of New Orleans over a letter he wrote to a local weekly newspaper in July of 1996, The Gambit. The school newspaper, the Driftwood , wrote an article extremely critical of him and his letter and will only publish a 300 word response. In the interest of fairness, we have posted the letter which Professor Miller had asked them to publish and which they refused. It much more thoroughly addresses the various issues questioned and explains the vital need for an understanding of human differences to avoid racial hatred.
In addition we have added links to the original Driftwood article, other Driftwood articles and letters on Professor Miller and links to the various letters published in The Gambit Some of these links may have expired [as of 7/98 all were active except those to The Gambit].
