Both the church and the cemetery are located about four miles from Springfield, SC, the church on Hwy 4 and the cemetery on Hwy 332 the road to Norway and Samuel Dr. in the Morgantown Community. Dr. Morgan married the daughter of Martin Friday, who owned the plantation adjacent to Jacob Stroman's Rocky Swamp Plantation, and the community was named for him. There is also a Friday Cemetery nearby.
