I, Rosa Stroman, of the County and State aforesaid, declare this to be my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking any former Wills by me heretofore made.
FIRST: I direct my just and lawful debits (sic) be paid by my Executors, hereinafter named, as soon after my death as practicable out of my personal estate.
SECOND: I hereby give and bequeath unto my grandson, George E. Stroman, a Five Hundred Dollar U.S. Liberty Bond and one Thousand ($1000.00) Dollars in Cash, and I give and bequeath unto my son, Charles Benjamin Stroman, the sum of One Thousand ($1000.00) Dollars, and I hereby give and bequeath all of my household and kitchen furniture unto my son George Edward Stroman.
Third: I hereby give, devise and bequeath my “Home Place”, in the County of Orangeburg, State aforesaid, containing two hundred (200) acres, Surveyor (sic), unto my son, George E. Stroman, the following tracts of land in the County of Orangeburg, State aforesaid, of which my said son, George E. Stroman, is now in possession, to wit: - One tract containing one hundred and twenty-eight (128) acres, more or less; one tract containing eighty (80) acres, more or less; one tract containing sixty-seven (67) acres, more or less, and one tract containing one hundred (100) acres, more or less, as shown on a plat made by Frank W. Frederick, Surveyor, for and during the period of his natural life and after his death to his children, the child or children of any deceased child to take the parents share.
Fourth: I hereby give and devise unto my son, Charles B. Stroman, the following tracts of land, situate, lying and being in the County of Orangeburg, State aforesaid, to wit: - All that certain tract or parcel of land, situate, lying and being in the County of Orangeburg, State aforesaid, as shown on plat made by Frank W. Frederick, Surveyor, and which was placed in possession of the late John B. Stroman, containing eighty (80) acres, more or less; and also, All that other tract or parcel of land as shown on said plat of Frank W. Frederick, Surveyor, containing sixty-seven (67) acres, more or less, and also, all the following tracts of land, situate, lying and being in the County of Orangeburg, State aforesaid, as shown on plat made by Frank W. Frederick, Surveyor, now in possession of my said son, Charles B. Stroman, namely One tract known as his “Home Place” containing one hundred and sixty-two (162) acres, more or less, one tract containing sixty-five (65) acres, more or less, and one tract containing two hundred and thirty-five (235) acres, more or less, for and during the period of his natural life and after his death to his children, the child or children of any deceased child to take the parents share.
Fifth: I hereby give, devise and bequeath all the rest, residue and remainder of my property, both read and personal, and of every name, nature, kind and description whatsoever and wheresoever situate, unto my sons, Charles B. Stroman and George E. Stroman, to be divided equally between them, share and share alike.
Sixth: I hereby nominate, constitute and appoint my sons George E. Stroman and Charles B. Stroman, Executors of this my last Will and Testament.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I the said Rosa Stroman, have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourth day of February A.D. 1924.
